August 2010 - CPT-E13 - Low cost DSP inverter controller
The CPT-E13 is a low cost, high performance DSP based inverter controller that has been designed for applications requiring a single board solution to control up to a four-phase VSI stack.
The board is Used in conjunction with the CPT-DA2810 DSP processor card which is based around a Texas Instruments TMS320F2810PBK DSP. This DSP has been specifically developed for use in digital motor/motion control applications, and the CPT-E13/CPT-DA2810 combination contains on-card all necessary functions for a complete standalone inverter control system.
Check the CPT-E13 page for more information or email us.
July 2010 - Magna-Power - Photovoltaic Power Profile Emulation (PPPE) Software
The Photovoltaic Power Profile Emulation (PPPE) Software automatically calculates solar array voltage and current profiles based on user-defined parameters.
These profiles can be sequentially sent to a Magna-Power Electronics' power supply, which will emulate defined characteristics. The user can define a limitless number of profiles to be emulated and sequences over a given time period.
Check the Magna-Power Electronics section of the site for more information or email us.
There has also been an update to the Magna Power XR Series. Check the XR series II page.
October 2009 - New Product - 10kVA Static Inverter
The 10kVA Static Inverter is designed and manufactured for use in Indian Railways coaches. The Inverter uses IGBT technology to convert a nominal 110 V DC supply into a 240 V AC, 1 phase, 50 Hz power supply for air conditioning units and associated loads, such as coach fans and lights, water raising apparatus, evaporator fans, condenser fans, compressors etc., that are installed in the conventional coaches of Indian Railways.
The inverter operates by boosting the DC input voltage to establish an intermediate dc link voltage & modulating this link voltage with a three-phase IGBT bridge to produce a pulse width modulated single-phase output voltage. The Inverter output is internally filtered to produce a pure sinusoidal output waveform.
